  • Some of the private courses in the area will accept same-day reservations.
  • Find early/late season discounted prices in May, September and October.
  • Most courses have discounted rates after 3pm.
  • Tee times for large groups should be reserved well in advance to accommodate the entire party.
  • Book tee-times early in the morning to avoid weekend crowds.
  • Bring your driver - the 8,150 foot altitude will send your ball an extra 15% farther than at sea level!

The Vail Valley contains many world-famous and award-winning golf courses. The Cordillera Summit Course designed by the golf legend, Jack Nicklaus, is a favorite in the valley. The 18-hole course located in Edwards, Colorado has a total of 7,530 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 71.4 and it has a slope rating of 129 on Blue grass. The course has won such awards as General Golf Digest Magazine's Top Rated Golf Courses for Colorado 2005-2006 and Golf Magazine's Top 10 New Public-Access Golf Courses in America 2001. The Red Sky Golf Club Norman and Fazio courses have also been recognized as some of the best courses in America. These two courses, both 18 holes with a par of 72, have won numerous awards including Golf Digest Magazine's Top Rated Golf Courses for Colorado 2005-2006 and Golf Magazine's Top 100 Public-Access Golf Courses in America 2004.
