Skiing and Snowboarding isn't the only things you can do on Vail and Beaver Creek Mountain.

Other Activites include:
Adventure Ridge

Tubing - Grab a tube, hop a lift, get a rush. Our multi-lane tubing hill whisks you downhill while the easy-access surface lift takes you back up quickly.

Ski Biking - Part bike. Part skis. All adventure. Reservations are recommended, please call (970) SKI-VAIL (754-8245).

Snow Shoeing - From animal tracks to the mountain pine beetle, the Nature Discovery Center is your source for all things wild - including guided snowshoe tours with an expert naturalist. 2pm daily, no reservations required. Daily AM snowshoe tours are also offered through the Vail Resorts Nordic School. For more info about AM tours call (970) 754-3210

Zip Line - The four-line, 1,200-foot zipline tour is a new and unique way to see the mountain from an entirely different point of view.

Kid's Snowmobile - Kids cruise around Blizzard Speedway in specially crafted mini-snowmobiles.

Cross Country Skiing - Snowshoe, Cross-Country, and Backcountry ski tours for all levels. Come explore the wilderness around Vail on one of our group tours or privates. We also offer Telemark on Vail Mountain. Explore a side of Vail you’ve never seen before! Visit the Vail Nordic School desk in Golden Peak.



Summertime is one of the most exciting times in the Vail Valley.

Acitivies on the mountain include:

Mountain Biking -Join one of our experienced guides for an exhilarating journey down Vail Mountain’s network of mountain bike trails. Designed for our guests with less experience on a mountain bike, this two hour tour includes some basic instruction and a guide to help you explore Vail Mountain.

Mini Golf - Situated at the base of the Born Free Express Lift (#8) across from the Lionshead ticket office, Gore Creek Mini Golf is perfect for the whole family. The course provides putting fun for all ages on nine, par-three holes and each hole features an interpretive animal theme that spotlights local Vail Valley animal species and provides educational background and information.

Zip Line - The four-line, 1,200-foot zipline tour is a new and unique way to see the mountain from an entirely different point of view. Grab the handles and hold on tight as you fly through the air at 10,350 ft!

Frisbee Golf - Tee up for this spectacular, self-guided 18-hole Disc Golf Course at the top of the mountain. Front nine is beginner/intermediate and the back nine is intermediate/advanced. Allow 1–2 hours per nine holes.

Horseback Riding - Take a scenic horseback tour from Eagle’s Nest through Game Creek Bowl and back, overlooking the Vail Valley. Suitable for adults and children 7 years and up. Children ages 3–6 years can enjoy pony rides around our mountaintop corral. Reservations are recommended. Jeep Tours - Vail’s 45-minute Top of the Mountain Tour combines adventure with incredible summer views of Vail’s legendary Back Bowls, the Gore Range and Mount of the Holy Cross from high atop Vail Mountain in an open air vehicle. The 11-mile loop begins at Eagle’s Nest and continues beyond Patrol Headquarters to Two Elk before returning to the western end of the mountain.

Hiking -  Guided hikes on Vail Mountain are offered Wednesday to Saturday during summer operations. Private hikes are available Sunday to Tuesday and are customizable to your hiking preference! All guided hikes will meet at the Lionshead Ticket Office.
